IX BRICS Civil Forum
The press conference following the outcomes of the IX BRICS Civil Forum held under the motto “Strengthening Multilateralism for Equitable Global Development and Security” took place on July 4 at the Rossiya Segodnya media group.
During the Forum on July 3 and 4, the invited speakers and honoured guests from the BRICS and World Majority countries will address the objectives and elaborate proposals to enhance dialogue in such fields as equitable development, education and human development, sovereign economic and financial development, technology ethics, social healthcare and well-being, environment, as well as energy transition and social fairness, future cities, values and rights of nations, and culture, sport and tourism.
The outcome of the forum is expected to be position papers from civil society to the leaders of the BRICS member states.
